Since the late 2000s, the perception of design has evolved—UX is no longer just about visuals, but about how things work, feel, and support the user journey across the entire product.
We’ll cover:
Interaction Design principles – Understand the foundations of behavior-driven design, and how interaction patterns shape the user’s experience. We’ll explore how perception of quality has shifted from surface-level design to system-level thinking over the past 15 years.
Components of good usability – Dive into the core criteria that make a product usable: clarity, feedback, consistency, learnability, efficiency, and error prevention. You’ll learn how to evaluate and improve usability across different product types.
By the end of this session, you’ll have a stronger grasp of what makes a design truly functional, how to approach usability systematically, and why interaction design is central to delivering value through UX.
